We have been MIA from the BBY blog the past few months, but not to fret we are BACK!!! :) AND WE LOVE YOU!
Someone once asked Jesus, “Master, which is the great commandment in the law?”
Jesus answered: “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
“This is the first and great commandment.
“And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself” (Matthew 22:36–39).
We can show our love in many ways: a smile, a wave, a kind comment, or a compliment. We
can be kind, patient, understanding, and forgiving. This will show others the love in our hearts. -

What a wonderful thought that we are able to show the love in our hearts by saying and doing
kind things to those around us each day. With February being a month strongly focused on love,
each of you are now challenged to show your love for the Lord by doing a good deed each day.
It can be as simple as holding the door open for someone or as grand as cleaning the house!
Elder Jeffrey R. Holland of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles stated in the April 2014 general
conference “Pure Christlike love flowing from true righteousness can change the world.”
Wow, that is an amazing promise! Love can be powerful enough to change the world. We have
the power and ability to help that happen! Starting with small acts of kindness is only the
beginning. As each day comes and goes, let us each remember what love is capable of. Starting
with changing hearts and eventually even the world.
As you learn at camp the Be There Girls can change the world! You each have taken time to
work hard and donate what you earn to great causes! Here are some ways you can continue to
spread the love and help change the world!
1. Give without sparing -share with others that you have been blessed with
2. Enjoy without complaint- support others in their goals and dreams, be happy for them
3. Trust without wavering-have faith that all things are working together for your good
4. Forgive without judging-don’t hold grudges, apologize and be kind in all you say and do
5. Listen without interrupting-be a good listener without thinking about your response;
listen, think, and then respond.
By doing these small and simple things, you are showing and sharing love in incredible
ways! We all love you and know you can show Christlike love each day by following these
steps! Go forth with faith and spread the love!
