Sarah Sun
Our own Miss Utah 2023, Sarah Sun will be making a special appearance at BBY this year! As a classically trained pianist, Sarah has had the opportunity to perform as a soloist at Carnegie Hall and with professional symphonies across China and the US, including the Utah Symphony. She is currently majoring in Music and minoring in Political Science at Brigham Young University. Her career ambition is to obtain a Juris Doctorate and Master of Business Administration from Harvard University.
Sarah’s community service initiative is Reducing Recidivism Through Art Education, where she works to make arts education available to inmates at the Utah State Prison. As young women look up to Sarah, she hopes they take away a powerful message: the importance of knowing who you are and standing up for what is just and true. She encourages others to find strength within themselves and to see the potential in making a difference, one person at a time.
